Morris & Essex Train Service Restored in Both Directions, Delays Up to 60 Minutes

Train service was restored shortly before 6 p.m. on the NJ Transit Morris & Essex line after a pedestrian was struck and killed around 5 p.m. on the tracks at South Orange Station this evening.

The incident is under active investigation by NJ Transit, according to South Orange Village President Sheena Collum.
