From Bob Zuckerman of the South Orange Village Center Alliance via the Village Vibe newsletter:
It’s called Private Quarters for a reason; each and every client has their own individual suite! That is correct — each suite has been carefully curated and themed to give you a unique and pampering experience.
Private Quarters is the brainchild of Rachelle Lherisson, whose goal is to make women feel beautiful and special. Rachelle is the former owner of the Ambrose Day Spa in Millburn, and in addition to being an expert on hair and makeup, she’s also a licensed interior designer and the owner of a successful design business called BHR Designs and Remodeling in Summit.
Rachelle got the idea for Private Quarters several years ago when she accompanied her aunt who was living with cancer to get her hair done, and saw firsthand how embarrassing it was for her aunt to have her hair, which had thinned dramatically, styled in public. So, she came up with the idea to have private suites for each customer, and, a few years later, Private Quarters was born.
The suites — aptly named Black Orchid, Tiffany, White Diamonds, Platinum, Pearl, Parisian, and Zen — are each equipped with their own sound system, and Private Quarters lets you choose the music you want to hear with your appointment. If your appointment is 90 minutes or longer, they also offer in-suite dining services where they will order food in for you from local restaurants such as NoodleFan, Bunny’s, Papillon 25 and Town Hall Deli and serve it to you on beautiful china.
Although one of Private Quarter’s specialties is women with hair loss or alopecia, they offer a full range of hair and color services for women and girls of all ages as well as weaves, extensions and custom wigs, makeup applications, and waxing services.
We’ll be announcing the ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony coming soon, but Private Quarter is open now:
