Columbia High School Launches New Tradition: Senior Black & Red Breakfast

The following is from Elizabeth Aaron, Principal of Columbia High School

On Friday, May 19th from 7:45-9:00 am, Columbia High School Class of 2017 will join for the Inaugural Senior Black and Red Breakfast.

The special union for the seniors and their families is supported by the school community and 9th-11th grade families are asked to “pay it forward.” Contributions of breakfast items were solicited here; at the moment all slots are filled except for fruit salad.

The breakfast will be held in the CHS cafeteria. At that time, seniors, invited to wear CHS school colors of black and red and their Columbia gear, will have an information meeting about end-of-year activities including Prom, Graduation, and Midnight Madness. They will also hear about becoming a member of the Columbia High School Alumni Association and hear from alumni who will share a few thoughts on how a Columbia experience and diploma helped them forward. The breakfast is also an opportunity to take a class photo for students to have as a memento of their years at CHS.

If you have questions, please contact Maureen Davenport or Margaret Gray.  Thank you!
