‘Know Your Rights’ at Woodland Jan. 11 Provides Prep for Inauguration Protests

In preparation for the Women’s March in Washington on January 21 and inaugural protests in New York City and Trenton, there will be a pre-march meeting at The Woodland (the former Maplewood Woman’s Club), 60 Woodland Avenue, Maplewood, NJ from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

Members of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) will present “Know Your Rights as a Protester.” Local activist groups will also speak about their work and opportunities to get involved. Information tables with volunteer sign-up sheets will be available.

No reservations necessary. Small donations of $2 -5 will be accepted at the door to cover costs of the venue and security.
