Open Book/Open Mind: A Conversation with Jacqueline Woodson and Tayari Jones

Poet and National Book Award winning author of more than two dozen books for children and young adults, Jacqueline Woodson is best known for Miracle’s Boys, which won the Coretta Scott King Award in 2001, and her Newbery Honor-winning titles Brown Girl Dreaming, After Tupac and D Foster, Feathers, and Show Way.

She will now discuss her first adult novel, Another Brooklyn, with acclaimed author Tayari Jones. Ms. Jones’ was the winner of the Hurston-Wright Legacy Award for debut Fiction. She is the author of the novels Leaving Atlanta, The Untelling, and Silver Sparrow, which the NEA added it to its Big Read Library of classics in 2016.

The event is free and reserving a seat below is highly recommended.
