Maplewood Police Arrest Two in Separate Assaults on Saturday

Maplewood Police arrested two people in two separate assaults in downtown Maplewood on Saturday.

At around 10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person on the train tracks at Maplewood Station, said Sgt. Christopher Black. When they arrived they found several groups of juveniles in the area of the station and Memorial Park. Police arrested a 17- year-old for assaulting another juvenile and charged him with simple assault, Black said.

At 10:45 that night, officers were in the area of Baker Street when they saw 20-year-old Jamesson Archille of Maplewood allegedly assault a juvenile male, said Black. Police arrested Archille and charged him with simple assault.
