The Maplewood Police Department and Maplewood Fire Department recently teamed up to provide 20 turkeys and “all the trimmings” for the Maplewood Welfare Department. Welfare Director Sandra Bartlett will be supplying the food to 20 Maplewood families in need.
“We want to thank Stop n Shop manager Jeff Reuter for giving us a great price,” said Maplewood Deputy Chief Joseph Callaghan.
(Speaking of Stop n Shop, the new supermarket at 407 Valley Street in South Orange will be open until 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 and will be open on Thanksgiving from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
