A Ward Place resident stated that she was on the third floor of her residence when she heard noises coming from her second floor. When the victim went to investigate further she discovered an actor being described as a black male in his 30’s approximately 5’9” to 6’0” in height, unshaven and wearing a black hooded type sweatshirt and blue jeans. The victim stated that upon discovering the actor she was assaulted physically by said actor as he struck her about her body with his fists. After the brief assault the actor fled the residence on foot.
