Two Teens Arrested in Maplewood Burglary, Auto Theft

Maplewood Police arrested two 19-year-olds and charged them with burglary and motor vehicle theft on Nelson Place on Thursday, according to Sgt. Christopher Black. At around 5:30 a.m., officers responding to a resident’s report found a vehicle and two people that matched the resident’s description. Officers arrested Amin Roland of Maplewood and Salih Fox of Irvington and charged them with burglary and theft, said Black.

July 13, 2015; Bicycle Theft; During the last several days a bicycle was stolen from an unsecured garage on West Lane.

July 14, 2015; MV Theft Attempt; During the overnight hours, a Lexus parked in a Springfield Ave lot sustained damage to it’s door lock and the windows were found in the down position.

July 18, 2015; Theft of Bicycles; During the overnight hours two bicycles were removed from an unsecured garage on Highland Ave.
