The annual parade celebrating the kick-off of the 2017 baseball and softball season for South Orange and Maplewood children will be held Saturday, April 29th.
The parade, led by members of the CHS Marching Band, will leave Columbia High School at 9:00 am sharp and walk on Valley Street to Memorial Park. Along with players, coaches and family members, the parade will include participation from the Fire Department, Police Department and the Seton Hall Pirate. Music will be provided by musicians from Mark Murphy’s Music. Participants will gather at one of the Memorial Park fields for a ceremonial “first pitch” from Village President Sheena Collum and Maplewood Mayor Vic DeLuca.
