PHOTOS: South Orange-Maplewood Marchers Head for Washington

They were up early — before the sun. But more than 1,700 South Orange and Maplewood residents brought a sunny attitude and loads of energy as they boarded buses this morning around 5 a.m. to head for the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. — joining countless others from the towns who traveled by train.

These photos of buses leaving from the South Orange Performing Arts Center were captured by Joshua Spitzig (we also threw in a photo of Maplewood Mayor Vic DeLuca and wife Janey and a photo of South Orange Trustee Deborah Davis Ford with her bus co-captain Lindsey Stone).
