Pantsuit Drive

Many women donned pantsuits on Election Day in support of Hillary Clinton’s presidential nomination.

Perhaps the pantsuits were purchased for the occasion. Maybe a gently used blazer and slacks were located in the back of the closet.

Ellen Kahaner, a South Orange Democratic District Leader, and her daughter, Sylvia Osner, Columbia High School Junior, are starting a PANTSUIT DRIVE for Dress for Success in Morristown, a non-profit organization that “empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help them thrive in work and life.”

Donations of pantsuits will go straight to the Dress for Success boutique, so no garbage bags or ratty out of style dust collectors will be accepted. All sizes, particularly larger, on hangers, ready to wear will be collected on Sat. or Sunday, Dec. 10th or 11th, between 7 AM – 7 PM., at 425 Meeker St., South Orange, NJ.
