Book Sale Bake Sale to benefit Kids v Cancer

Eighth annual BOOK SALE/BAKE SALE to benefit Kids v Cancer at 38 PLYMOUTH AVENUE in Maplewood. SATURDAY, June 4, 9am-1pm. In case of inclement weather, updates will be posted here. Children’s books of all shapes and sizes, sorted by category, including board books, picture books, “I can read,” early chapter books, series, middle reader, young adult, history and biography, American Girl, fantasy, animals, activity books, reference, nonfiction, poetry, mythology, Disney, parenting, etc. You name it, we’ve got it. A few boxes of great adult fiction and nonfiction as well. Dirt-cheap prices (25 cents a book; ten for $2). It’s a great opportunity to stock up for summer. Come for breakfast: lots of scrumptious baked goods and awesome lattes! Fast Company recently named Kids v Cancer the fourth-most-innovative nonprofit in the country for its work on accelerating the discovery of pediatric-cancer treatments.
