Moore Love, the non-profit organization whose “Pass It On” initiative teaches children kindness, will hold its second annual Moore Music event on June 4th. The event, which will feature live music, finger food, and a raffle, the event will be held at the Wyoming Club in Millburn from 7:30 to 10:30 PM.
The goal of this year’s garden-party themed “Moore Music: Growing Moore Love” is to raise money to continue supporting the organization’s program in Gregory Elementary School. The venue will be filled with a beautiful array of flowers in recognition of Moore Love’s goal to generate enough money and support to launch the program in other West Orange Elementary Schools in 2017.
Moore Music’s headline act, Big In China, is a blues/rock band headed by Maplewood-based singer/songwriter Alan Paul. The set will include material by the likes of the Allman Brothers, BB King and the Grateful Dead along with originals, many of which were composed and recorded by Paul in Beijing with his award-winning Chinese band Woodie Alan. In addition to live music, entertainment will include a raffle with entertainment will include a raffle with items ranging from a week stay at a villa in Cancun, Yankees tickets, a free week of yoga summer camp, premium parking and reserved seats at the Gregory 5th grade and Kindergarten graduations, and much more!
