South Orange Symphony Fall Concert

Join South Orange Symphony for the opening concert of their 2017-2018 season with Maestro Susan Haig of Summit at the podium. Acclaimed pianist Kevin Lee of Manhattan is featured soloist in Ravel’s jazzy Piano Concerto. Also on the program, Brahm’s Symphony No. 3, and Tchaikovsky’s March Slav. To help honor the 100th year of his birth, the orchestra will also perform Bernstein’s Overture to Candide.

South Orange’s own resident community orchestra performs three free concerts each year at South Orange Middle School. The musicians are talented amateurs and semi-professionals from South Orange, Maplewood, and surrounding towns.
