To the Editor:
As a Vice President and Trustee of the Montrose Park Historic District Association, Inc. (Debbie); as a former member of the South Orange Zoning Board of Adjustment (Bob); as former retail business owners in South Orange (Adler & Company, on Village Plaza for 17 years); and as South Orange residents for over 30 years, we’ve seen a lot of changes—and a lot of Village Trustees and Presidents. So we are thrilled that we have the opportunity to elect Sheena Collum to represent us as our Village President.
If you have ever seen her in a public meeting of the Board of Trustees, or in her work on subcommittees and working groups in the Village, you know that Sheena is a dynamo; she’s smart, focused, organized, and creative—while being respectful of others, accessible, and professional. Perhaps because of her experience as Executive Director of the American Planning Association – New Jersey Chapter, she knows how to plan for the totality of our Village and get things done on both the state and municipal levels. What a combination for South Orange! We recently reviewed her website and were wowed at learning from her page: southorange2015.com/sheena_collum all that she’s done.
Don’t let this one get away! Get out and vote on Election Day – Tuesday, May 12 and support, as we do, Sheena Collum for Village President.
