We are privileged to have served the last two years as Village Trustees, having been elected in 2013 along with Sheena Collum. Under her leadership, we have been able to work very collaboratively with staff and volunteers in order to achieve our collective goals in town. Sheena’s passion to help citizens of all types and strong work ethic make her an incredible candidate for Village President. Her ability to judge what is fair and for the collective good is a terrific asset that has already improved our Village, and shows great promise for our future.
Sheena led us to create a strong platform and position statement two years ago, and has spearheaded efforts to complete that vision with clear results. We can tell you that when Sheena puts her mind to something, she sees it through to successful completion.
Equally important is her positive attitude and sunny demeanor, as she creates a space for others to succeed and enjoy the process. She has made strong relationships with employees and important partners in town, and has built trust which is essential in accomplishing big goals. When working with Sheena, you can always depend on her to work diligently and hold herself personally responsible for the desired outcome.
Add up Sheena’s skills, experience, and good heart, along with clear ethical leadership and you have an incredible choice for Village President. We urge you to make sure that you show your support and get out to the polls on May 12 and vote for Sheena Collum and the South Orange 2015 Team on Row B.
