Looking for some snappy tunes, clever rhymes and all your favorite Dr. Seuss characters from Horton to the Cat in the Hat to all those Whos down in Whoville?
Seth Boyden School’s 5th grade class wants to fulfill your dreams of a Seuss-a-palooza with its production of Seussical Jr. The Musical.
For two months, 60 5th graders (and a couple of cute kindergartners!) have been practicing their fluffy tails off with the support of the Seth Boyden PTA and the aid of a cadre of parents — some of whom bring Broadway and national touring company experience to the effort — to bring the community this perfect, precious dust speck of a performance.
Showtimes are Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 30 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and can be purchased online at seusssethboyden.brownpapertickets.com or at Maplewood Stationers, Shenanigan’s Toys, The Fringe Salon and Sparkhouse Kids Toys.
