Maplewood Police Blotter: Two Burglaries and Thefts from Autos

The following is from Sgt. Christopher Black of the Maplewood Police Dept.

July 7, 2015; Burglary; Between 1 and 4:30 AM, a home on William St was entered through an unsecured window. A purse containing cash was stolen from the first floor. The actor was not observed and there were no injuries.

July 9, 2015; Theft from Auto Theft; During the overnight hours a GPS was taken from an unsecured vehicle on Creston Ave

July 9, 2015; Theft from Auto Theft; During the overnight hours a purse, jewelry and electronics were taken from an unsecured vehicle on Berkley St.

July 9, 2015; Theft from Auto Theft; During the overnight hours a bag and two cell phones were stolen from an unsecured vehicle on Lexington Ave.

July 11, 2015; Burglary; At approximately 4:30 AM a business on Maplewood Ave was forcibly entered and the cash register stolen.

July 11, 2015; Theft from Auto Theft; During the overnight hours a purse and tablet were stolen from an unsecured vehicle on Elmwood Ave.

July 11, 2015; Bicycle Theft; During the overnight hours, a bicycle was stolen from the rear yard of a home on Plymouth Pl.
