D&I Fitness officially celebrated the grand opening of its expansive, state-of-the-art new facility in The Gateway on South Orange Avenue with a ribbon cutting on Friday.

In addition to D&I’s owners, Delon and Terri Nelson, the gym’s trainers and staff; South Orange Village Center Alliance’s (SOVCA) Bob Zuckerman, Matt Glass, Melissa Hodge and Ben Salmon; South Orange Business Administrator Barry Lewis; Gateway developer Ed Ayuso; and South Orange Trustees Steve Schnall, Walter Clarke and Jeff Dubowy were on hand to commemorate the occasion.
“We are really excited to be able to keep growing,” said Terri. “Now we can offer more, including TRX, muay thai boxing and teen fitness, as well as private training.”
On Saturday, the gym will host a special day of free mini-classes for the public.
