Thank you for your coverage of the potential Orange Lawn development. As you reported in the last article, at the recent Board of Trustees meeting one of the club members made remarks to the effect that the neighbors have not proposed any plans to resolve the club’s situation. That is not accurate – a small group of us met with representatives of OLTC last spring and suggested several specific alternatives to the development proposal which they had put forth. While we were disappointed that the current draft ordinance doesn’t reflect our feedback, this group appreciates the difficulty of the situation and continues to be committed to working with all the constituencies in an attempt to find a solution which would be acceptable to everyone involved.
