South Orange was featured on The Today Show on Thursday, in a candid camera-style segment where host Hoda Kotb impersonated a Parking Authority enforcement officer giving out fake parking tickets — which were actually tickets to popular concerts, shows and sporting events.
It was part of The Today Show’s Share Kindness campaign. Kotb was “in cahoots” with the South Orange Parking Authority to set up a camera in the 2nd floor of the Hot Bagels Abroad building, said SOVCA’s Bob Zuckerman. The segment was shot recently and broadcast on Thursday.
