South Orange’s traditional Hometown Holiday celebration is back on Saturday, December 7. As in prior years, the celebration starts at 1:30pm at the South Orange Fire House with visits with Santa and includes free hot chocolate, photos and a dance performance by the Maria Priadka School of Dance. At 4:30pm everyone will start gathering for the Elf Parade up to 76 South Orange Avenue for the Tree Lighting at 5:15pm. This year the Elf Parade will be led by the Maplewood Community Music Trombone Section playing a medley of holiday songs. Hometown Holiday is generously sponsored by the Lichtman-Rabney Group at Heath Realty Group.
