Jefferson School clap out
Jefferson School bade farewell to its fifth graders Tuesday, with the annual “clap out.” Students in grades three and four lined the front walk of the school to applaud, as the graduates were dismissed on the final day of school. Teachers and parents joined in the celebration.
Principal Susan Grierson encouraged the students in all grades to, “Go outside. Enjoy being kids this summer.”
Students seemed eager to heed the advice.
