Celebrate the holidays with Chanticleer at the South Orange Performing Arts Center Center on December 3 at 8 p.m. as they perform seasonal anthems and carols written by some of the greatest American musicians. The Met Review declared Chanticleer “America’s a capella pride and joy.”

Tickets are $50-$75 and can be found here or by calling (973) 313-2787.

Founded in San Francisco in 1978, Chanticleer has sold a million records and received two Grammy Awards, and many more nominations. They are an icon of beautiful choral music as they bring joy in music old, new and familiar. The glorious sounds of these 12 male voices have inspired The New Yorker to declare Chanticleer “the world’s reigning male chorus.” The San Francisco Chronicle praises their “tonal luxuriance and crisply etched clarity.”

A Chanticleer Christmas is a celebration of the season for the entire family. The traditional and heartwarming music of the season will fill you with cheer. This performance is proudly sponsored by Anthony and Jennifer Leitner.

SOPAC programs are made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. The South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) is a 501(c)(3)charitable organization. SOPAC received funding through a grant from the NJ Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism, visitnj.org.
