Celebrate the holidays with the brilliant, American Folk-Rock band Delta Rae. They will be performing at the South Orange Performing Arts Center on December 15th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $30-38 and can be purchased by calling (973) 313-2787 or visiting www.sopacnow.org

From NPR to Time to Forbes, Delta Rae is recognized as an up-and-coming musical force to be reckoned with. These soulful roots-rockers got their start in Durham, North Carolina and have been actively performing since 2009.  With two albums already under their belt, Delta Rae is working on their third album while hitting the road for their Winter Acoustic Tour.

Delta Rae is made up of three siblings: Ian Holljes, Eric Holljes and Brittany Holljes; as well as Elizabeth Hopkins, Mike McKee and Grant Emerson who effortlessly bring vocals, guitar, piano, percussion and bass to life. The band debuted at group members Eric and Brittany’s alma mater Duke University and have since been hand selected by VH1 for their “You Oughta Know” Artist of the Month program and performed twice on both The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Conan. In 2012, Delta Rae released their debut album Carry the Fire which quickly followed up with the EP Chasing Twisters. The band’s soulful sophomore album, After it All, came out in 2015 and according to Time, “It’s big, bluesy—and—best of all—refreshingly earnest.”
