School is just around the corner. For many parents there is a mixture of excited anticipation, as well as some anxiety about their child’s “readiness.“
Maplewood resident Tina Bernstein, an occupational therapist and local artist, is offering a program called “Finger fun.” She will facilitate private creative art activities in your home to strengthen muscles, improve coordination, and build skills, while tapping into your child’s imagination and building confidence. No boring handwriting practice, no drill work.
Sessions will be adapted for 3-10 year olds daytime and after school.
If Tina’s name is familiar to you, you may know her work from various local gallery shows as well as the annual Artists Studio Tour.
All materials will be provided. Cost: $100 for one child $180. For a group of two. Sessions are one hour in duration.
