The following is from the South Orange Performing Arts Center:
Get the Led Out – the American Led Zeppelin will make an appearance on the SOPAC stage November 17 at 7:30 p.m. The band is well known for their professionalism and passion for bringing the music of the English Rock band Led Zeppelin back to life. One of the greatest bands in the history of Rock, Led Zeppelin’s hits include “Whole Lotta Love,” “Stairway to Heaven,” “Black Dog,” “Kashmir” and “Ramble On,” and many more that topped the charts in the ‘60s and ‘70s.
Founded in 2003, Get the Led Out uses a number of instruments at their disposal to recreate the legendary songs of Led Zeppelin in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed. Guitar solos, drum fills and vocal melodies are guaranteed in this Hard Rock performance. Audiences across the nation are blown away by the uncanny resemblance of Get the Led Out performances to those of the original band members.
Each rendition is filled with enough passion and fury to bring any fan to their feet in awe and amazement. Band members aim to please by bringing the studio recordings of “the mighty Zep” to life on the big concert stage. No wigs or fake English accents, Get the Led Out is not an impersonator act but a group of musicians who were fans first, striving to do justice to one of the most timeless Rock bands in history.
Led Zeppelin favorites such as “Tangerine” and “Battle of Evermore” are performed in its original instrumentation with guest singer Diana DeSantis joining the band. A special “acoustic set” is also included in the performance, highlighting the beauty of the Led Zeppelin sound at its core.
From major clubs to performing arts center venues, crowds across the nation have witnessed the remarkable performances of Get the Led Out. For decades, fans have raved about the Blues-soaked, groove-driven Rock anthems of Led Zeppelin and now fans can witness Get the Led Out’s must-see rendition of the band.
