Already garnering stellar reviews, Imagine Me Gone tenderly and luminously deals with mental illness and with the life of the mind. It has been lauded by Tony Kushner ( Angels in America ) as one of the great books about loss and mourning, and described by Publisher’s Weekly as a “hypnotic and haunting novel.”

This is Adam Haslett’s third work of fiction. His first, the short story collection You Are Not a Stranger Here, was a Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award finalist. Union Atlantic, his second novel, won the Lambda Literary Award. His books have been translated into eighteen languages and he has been awarded a Guggenheim fellowship and two PEN awards. A graduate of Swarthmore College, the Iowa Writer’s Workshop and Yale Law School, Haslett has been a visiting professor at both the Iowa Writer’s Workshop and Columbia University.Haslett_ImagineMeGone_frontcover
