South Orange ‘Taste the Music’ Free Summer Concerts Kick off June 29

South Orange Summer Nights presents Taste the Music, a free summer concert at Flood’s Hill in Meadowland Park, featuring The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra on WednesdayJune 29, at 7:30 pm.

The program — the first of a summer-long series — features music from blockbuster films like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Beauty and the Beast and more, alongside classical favorites.

In addition to listening to great classical and pop music, dine from some of the great food trucks that will be rotating throughout the summer, including Amanda Bananas, Bro Ritos, Cheezen, Cupcake Carnivale, Empanada Guy, Hotdogs, Ms. Fu’s Yummy Food Truck, Outsliders, Pizza Vita and Waffle de Lys.

Come to Flood’s Hill early on concert night to enjoy the food trucks as well as arts and crafts activities for children, from 6-8 p.m.

The NJSO concert is sponsored by JESPY/Judi House and The Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest New Jersey. Taste The Music is jointly produced by the South Orange Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs and South Orange Performing Arts Center.
