The July 2 Free Concert in the Park at Flood’s Hill in South Orange has been moved indoors to the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) due to the weather forecast for severe storms.

The concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m., features Dub Proof, “a groove oriented band” from Asbury Park, NJ. According to the South Orange Village Center Alliance website, “The group is known for its freewheeling shows of roots reggae, funky dub, and classic reggae covers. Dub Proof’s music incorporates the social conscience of Bob Marley, the irresistible dance-ability of George Clinton funk, and the deep grooves and fresh originality of 70’s dub reggae.”

Free Concerts in the Park are presented by the Village of South Orange, The Baird and
South Orange Performing Arts Center.
