A group of Columbia High School students are currently the hottest retailers in MapSO.

Ethan Pidgeon, Tommy Dandino and Adam Krakower, are seniors at CHS and co-owners of Mapsosupply, a business that sells “a curated selection of second-hand clothing alongside our own Maplewood and South Orange apparel.”

“My co-founders and I started the business during our freshman year, and have been going at it ever since,” Pidgeon told Village Green. “Currently, we are selling at the SOMa General Store holiday pop-up-shop [which opened November 23 and continues through December 24].  This morning we had about 40 people lined up to buy our new ‘MAPSO’ crewneck sweatshirts, which we designed ourselves – they sold out within 5 minutes of opening. We’ve also designed Maplewood and South Orange baseball hats – which were a hit – and we are passionate about promoting our peers and community members.”

Pidgeon noted that he and his partners are young entrepreneurs who are “bringing a new crowd to the store and local business in general.” He was keen to highlight not only his own brand but “all the incredible small businesses participating” in the General Store Holiday Pop-Up Shop.

The General Store Holiday Pop-Up Shop is located at 14 South Orange Avenue. For dates and hours of operation, visit here.
