The Kikianis Family and Park Wood Diner staff, along with Mayor DeLuca, serve holiday dinner to seniors
On Thursday, Park Wood Diner owners Pete and Fifi Kikianis once again brought holiday cheer to Maplewood seniors at the Irvington Avenue Senior Building with a festive holiday dinner.
This is the third year Park Wood has hosted the event. Originally, Pete was looking for a way to give back to the community and approached Maplewood Mayor Vic DeLuca, who suggested a dinner for seniors.
The Kikianis family and Park Wood employees volunteered their time and resources to prepare the meal and serve it to the diners. DeLuca was there to help serve and mingle with the guests, while a band played live music.
