With all the construction going on in Maplewood Village this fall, you may have missed the beautification of one little corner of town.

Thanks the Beautification Committee of the Maplewood Village Alliance and the generous support of Allison Ziefert of Allison Ziefert Real Estate Group and Fred Shandler of Arturo’s Osteria & Pizzeria, a newly landscaped pocket park has been introduced in the area behind Arturo’s, in Lot 7 of the Village. The project was designed and executed by Aileen Binder Landscape Design. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last Saturday, November 17, amidst the snow.

The new pocket park is just one of many potential beautification projects that will be debuting in the Village in the next year. Stay tuned!

(Fun fact: Allison Ziefert was the very first manager of the Maplewood Village Alliance.)
