It’s what everyone is always asking for more of in our downtowns: Women’s apparel.
Retail Therapy is answering the call in South Orange Village Center, opening on the second floor of 75 South Orange Avenue (the South Orange Square building). Owner Julie Perlow-Greene sells current and vintage women’s clothing on consignment. According to the Village Vibe newsletter from the South Orange Village Center Alliance, Julie is a former clinical psychologist turned stylist (hence the store name — get it?).
Retail Therapy is generally open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and during the week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. -2 p.m.; HOWEVER, it’s best to call first since Retail Therapy’s hours are somewhat irregular right now. Dial 917-650-7895 and Perlow-Greene will see you at a time that’s convenient for you.
Retail Therapy also delivers! Perlow-Greene says that you can shop her Facebook page and text or message her and she will have the item delivered for a $5 fee.
