You may have noticed that areas of parking in Maplewood Village were blocked last week from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. That was because the Maplewood Village Alliance had been blocking on-street parking on one or two blocks at a time in order to perform sidewalk cleaning.
The sidewalk cleaning continues this week through Wednesday — but, since it is on the eastern side of Maplewood Avenue, no parking spaces will be blocked as there is no on-street parking on the eastern side of the street.
