The South Orange Food Stroll & Pub Crawl is SOVCA’s newest event that will showcase the diverse restaurants and unique retailers in our Village Center! The South Orange Food Stroll & Pub Crawl, graciously sponsored by Natalie Farrell of Weichert Realtors, will take place on Sunday, May 15 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Here’s how it will work: participating restaurants will set up tasting stations inside their stores. In order to attend the event you must purchase a wristband that will give you access to over one dozen restaurants sampling their fabulous food and stores who will be offering great discounts and promotions!
Beginning Tuesday, April 26, wristbands will be on sale at The Dancing Blender, Kitchen a la Mode and at Sparkhouse Toys.
Advance sale wristbands can be purchased for $15 each, and only $5 for kids 3-12. Children age 2 and under are free. Sales of wristbands at those 3 locations will be cash only.
Wristbands that are purchased in advance through our website can be picked up the day of the event, Sunday, May 15th, beginning at Noon at the Sloan Street gazebo by the train station. In addition, wristbands will also be available for sale at the gazebo the day of the event for $20 each, so it saves you money to buy them in advance!
We’ll be providing maps of all the participating businesses to all the attendees that you can use to walk around the Village to ensure that you don’t miss one morsel. To top it off, our participating restaurants who have liquor licenses will have special drinks for sale just for this event! That’s why we’re calling it a Food Stroll AND Pub Crawl.
