Whoopi Goldberg — star of big and small screens everywhere — was at Words Bookstore in Maplewood Village on Thursday, October 3, to sign copies of her new book “The Unqualified Hostess.” Needless to say, Goldberg attracted a crowd.
“We’re sending a huge thank you to Whoopi Goldberg for joining us for a wonderful signing last night!” wrote Words proprietor Jonah Zimiles on the Words Maplewood Facebook page, alongside of Goldberg posing with the Words staff. “What a delightful event! If you were unable to make it to the signing be sure to stop by [words] for your copy of ‘The Unqualified Hostess” today!”
