The Maplewood Health Department is promoting the following upcoming health-related event:

Monday, April 18. 7 p.m. Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St.
Health Lecture: “Caregiver Overload” — provided in partnership with Maplewood Memorial Library and Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Caregiver overload occurs when tasks that are required to care for a loved one build up to the point of being stressful.  Many caregivers neglect their own health and may feel overwhelmed, depressed, exhausted and isolated. Please join us as members from the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Transitions of Care team will discuss the common stressors associated with caregiving and what you can do to help alleviate it.

This program is FREE and open to the public. To register please call Barnabas Health link: 888-724-7123.

This, and many other programs, are listed on the Maplewood township website, “Community Health Care Resources.”

For more information, please contact the Maplewood Health Department at (973) 762-8120 x4200 or X4300.
