CCR Sponsors ‘Change Is Going to Come’ Poster Contest for Youth

From the Community Coalition on Race:

Calling all creative kids! In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr., the South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race is asking grade school kids (elementary through high school) to create posters, an essay or spoken word that describe the changes they would like to see in society and how they will help to make those changes happen.

The theme of 2018’s MLK Celebration is “Change is Going to Come,” taking inspiration from Sam Cook’s iconic song of the civil rights era. Posters can be from 8.5″ x 11″ up to 22″ x 28″. Winning posters will be displayed at the celebration on January 15, 2018. Winners will be announced in December 2017.
