Claudine Baptiste, a 24-year Maplewood resident and Branch Manager at BCB Maplewood, surely loves her town — and her town clearly loves her back.
Baptiste’s hometown pride was instrumental in recent years in bringing BCB Community Bank to Maplewood Village, providing the first lease signing for a commercial rental in the new Clarus Maplewood building that has transformed the northern end of the downtown district.
Baptiste was honored for this and for her overwhelming support of community events, programs, school organizations and charitable efforts with the 2019 Distinguished Service Award from the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce at a dinner at the Maplewood Country Club on May 23.
