Got Milk? Drop It Off at Our Lady of Sorrows Food Pantry

It is often during the summer months that the food pantries need the most support. Children who are provided with food during the school year do not always receive the food they need in the summer months. The Our Lady of Sorrows food pantry says one of the most needed items right now is shelf stable milk. The pantry take all types of milk in the aseptic packaging.. cow, soy, whole, fat free, almond..the patrons like it all. They have shifted away from evaporated because kids can’t put that on their cereal, and although powder is less popular it won’t be turned away. …

There are several ways you can help. You can deliver directly to the pantry at OLS (entry at the 4th Street door), join our Feed SOMany facebook group, and find your neighborhood drop off spot, or deliver directly to my home.

In the past, our diaper drives have been extremely successful due to the generosity of this community. Many people have opted to deliver the diapers directly to my home from places like Amazon. If this is more convenient for you, and you would like to send milk to my home, I will take care of getting it to the pantry, please feel free to reach out for my address via Facebook.

We will be collecting for two weeks beginning July 11 and ending on July 25.

As always, thank you for the amazing generosity of these towns. You make this all possible.
