The following is from Meeting Emergency Needs with Dignity (MEND):

Meeting Emergency Needs with Dignity, Inc. (MEND) is the oldest and largest interfaith anti-hunger coalition of food pantries in Essex County.

Please join us for a cocktail & dinner reception at Orange Lawn Tennis Club on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. as MEND marks its 37th year of serving those in need. Tickets are $125 per person. Tickets are available on the MEND website at https://www.mendnj.org/

For those interested in sponsorship, please see the sponsorship card available below.

We are excited to express gratitude and celebrate by honoring Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell; Prospect Presbyterian Church, Maplewood; Victor Nichols, DMC Publishing; and Patrick O’Neill, AmpYourGood for their invaluable support of Meeting Emergency Needs with Dignity.

Since 1980, more than 1.7 million Essex County neighbors have passed through MEND’s doors to feed their families.  In 2016, MEND pantries served approximately 107,000 individuals, a 32% increase over the past five years, despite two pantry closures during that time.
