Stuff the MEND Green Bean With More Water for Newark August 25 in Millburn

The MEND Hunger Relief Network will once again be stuffing its mobile food pantry — the Green Bean bus — with bottled water for deliver to its Newark food pantry distribution sites.

The bottled water is to aid residents who are suffering through Newark’s water crisis: recent citywide  tests have found unhealthy levels of lead  in Newark’s drinking water.

MEND will be accepting donations on Sunday, August 25, from 10 a.m. to noon outside the Millburn Free Public Library at 200 Glen Avenue in Millburn, NJ.
