On Saturday morning (March 31), the Food Pantry at Our Lady of Sorrows in South Orange served nearly 200 individuals and families at our Spring/Easter/Passover Distribution.

Thank you to the South Orange-Maplewood community for helping us support our neighbors in need. Our amazing donors and volunteers included Maplewood Mayor Victor De Luca and Janey DeLuca, Maplewood Township Committeemen Frank McGehee and Greg Lembrich, former Deputy Mayor of Maplewood Kathy Murphy Leventhal, MEND honoree Claire Gianni Sinclair, Scott Stemmermann, Bob Burns, Victor Gallo, Dennis Loesch, Mary Roberts-Auer, Joanna Losman, Kate Flannery, Ellen Wiese, Nancy Piasecki, Rosemary Muller, George Brown, Dan Salemson and family, Laura Gilkey and Josh, Mary Ellen Cusumano & Aiden, Gus Kern, Karen and Darrell Thomas, Becky Petraccaro, Frank Franzonia, Cynthia Sanders, Chris Costanzo and Alex, Zoe, Sophie and Kevin from MapSo Cares at Columbia HS, Lori Unterkoefler, plus our “milk angels” Jennifer Brown and Bernadette Aulestia, and, of course, our home base Our Lady of Sorrows Church: South Orange, New Jersey.

We appreciate all the food, funds, bags, time, and resources that these two towns provide not only on special holidays, but every week throughout the year, we could not do this work without all of you!
