“The average age [of SOMSD schools] is 95 years. We only have three buildings that are under a hundred years, and that’s 75 years, 96 years, and 73 years. The rest of our buildings are well over a hundred years old, with Maplewood Middle School being the oldest at 125 years old.” — Facilities Director Henry Bottiglierie
