Deputy Mayor McGehee Announces Bid for Re-Election to Maplewood Township Committee

Maplewood Deputy Mayor Frank McGehee announced on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, that he will run for another three-year term on the Maplewood Township Committee.

“I am announcing my candidacy for a second term on the Maplewood Township Committee,” wrote McGehee in a post on Facebook. “I am excited for the opportunity to continue serving the great people of our community.”

McGehee was first elected to the Maplewood Township Committee in November 2016, and began serving his term on January 1, 2017. McGehee was been selected by his fellow TC members to serve as Deputy Mayor for both 2018 and 2019.

Primary day is June 4, 2019. The general election takes place November 5. The Maplewood Democratic Committee is accepting submissions for its endorsement for the Democratic primary. Those interested must submit a resume and letter of interest to Ian Grodman, Chair, by February 28, at [email protected].
