My name is Melissa Alexis and I am a junior at Columbia High School. I am writing this letter to support Ms.Wright! As a former student at South Orange Middle School, I’ve had the chance to know Mama Wright a little better. She is a selfless person. She puts her energy into others and students FIRST. She is always willing to support students in spite of what administration may have to say. When we took the PARCC test, she defended students and parents who wanted to opt out their children. This should definitely be an option. The whole community LOVES Johanna Wright!! She has proven her character time and time again. This is why I support the reelection of Ms. Johanna Wright to the SOMa Board of Education.
