To The Editor:

I am writing to express my support for Frank McGehee for Maplewood Township Committee. Because of Frank’s interest in Maplewood and his commitment to serving our wonderful community, Frank and I have often been at the same place at the same time in the past couple of years. He is there to meet other residents, listen and learn so that he can better serve our town.

Frank’s experience in his work, in his Newton, Massachusetts community on the Economic Development Commission, and in Maplewood on the Library Board, Tuscan PTA Board and the Community Coalition on Race gives him a well-rounded perspective from which to make decisions on the Governing Body on behalf of Maplewood’s residents.

Frank and I have had several discussions about issues important to each of us. He listens and offers his perspective while respecting mine. This is vitally important in the work of governing Maplewood and working with the other four members of the Township Committee as well as with our Administration, Department Heads and staff. It is important to listen to all sides of issues, study available research and ask questions before casting a vote; I believe Frank respects that and will enjoy the process.

Frank McGehee will make a wonderful addition to the Township Committee and I ask for your vote for him on November 8th. I am confident he will be a hard-working and valuable addition to our team.

Best regards,

Nancy Adams, Deputy Mayor
Township of Maplewood
