The 15th annual Taste of Essex being held on Monday, March 30th promises to be better than ever with dozens of restaurants showcasing their outstanding cuisine and with hundreds of people on hand to sample appetizers, main courses, desserts, drinks and more.
Taste of Essex is an opportunity for restaurants to promote their offerings and grow their business. For attendees, it is a chance to sample outstanding food from dozens of restaurants across Essex County. This year’s event on March 30th will take place at The Manor, 111 Prospect Ave, West Orange, NJ from 5:30 to 9:30 pm.
The cuisine at Taste of Essex will include Indian, Italian, Asian, Greek, American, Irish pub food and lots more. Participating restaurants will be judged in the categories of “Sweet” and “Savory” by the sponsors of the event. A sample of the food and drink purveyors that will be participating include: Amalia’s, Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza, Bella Italia, Cricket Hill Brewery, Essex House, Highlawn Pavilion, Lithos Estiatorio, Livingston Pretzel, Mark & Julie, Mausam, Petite Bakery, Punzone Vodka, Purity Vodka, Simit Bakery, Spice II, Stamna, Strip House, Tierney’s Copperhouse, Two Men And An Appetite, and Verona Inn.
“Essex County is home to so many outstanding restaurants and it continues to grow as a popular dining destination.” commented Jo Ann Short, President of the North Essex Chamber, “We are happy to be able to bring this event to the public and give these restaurants the exposure that they deserve.
This event has been made possible through the financial support of BCB Bank, Barnabas Health, Lakeland Bank, Regal Bank, Spencer Bank, Farmers Insurance, Davis Integrated Medicine and Nancy Silver, Licensed Massage Therapist. Proceeds from the Taste of Essex will go toward the North Essex Chamber scholarship fund that provides scholarships to young people in Essex County. Scholarships are awarded annually to a graduating student from each of the high schools in the nine towns that the North Essex Chamber serves.
